It’s alright to be afraid to try new things but I personally like to overcome my fears. I’ve tried Yoga a couple of times and I never really got to stick to it. I never realized why until now.
Everytime I participated in a class, I spent more time worrying about why my pose didn’t look like the instructors or the person next to me, etc and I was just never “focused.”
Yoga takes concentration and a clear mind (which is hard to do and I honestly thought was not doable at all until I tried). You CAN absolutely shut out the world and focus on you for 10, 20, 30 minutes….
Flexibility has never been a skill of mine but with constant attempts I am getting better!!!!
